About the Journal

 

The quarterly journal (until 2019 an annual) „Studies into the History of the Book and Book Collections” is a national academic journal in the field of social communication and media sciences of the Department of Book and Media History of the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Bibliology at the University of Warsaw edited since 2006. (successor of the journal ‘Z Badań nad Polskimi Księgozbiorami Historycznymi’ published since 1975). The journal publishes the results of research in the broadly understood book culture in a historical context.
