Abstract

The books marked with Polish super exlibrises, stored in the collection of Western European prints in the National Library of Russia, come not only from the Załuski Library in Warsaw. It is confirmed by the source material published by the author, presenting (photography + description) alphabetically ordered 24 super exlibrises, including (among others) those of: Jan Dantyszek (1485-1548) - a poet, diplomat, bishop of Warmia; Samuel Maciejowski (1499-1550) - the bishop of Cracow, chancellor of Crown Poland; Piotr Wolski-Dunin (1531-1590) - the bishop of Płock, chancellor of Crown Poland, diplomat and bibliophile; Mikołaj Dłuski (approx. 1540-1590) - a reformation activist, member of parliament; Samuel Łaski (after 1553-1611) - a diplomat; Jan Andrzej Próchnicki (1553-1633) - the archbishop of Lvov, diplomat and bibliophile; Stanisław Bątkowski (died in 1617) - a professor and deputy chancellor of the Academy of Cracow; Jakub Zadzik (1582-1642) - the bishop of Cracow, chancellor of Crown Poland; Maria Kazimiera de la Grange d'Arquien (1641-1716) - the Polish queen, wife of Jan III Sobieski; Franciszek Bieliński (1683-1766) - marshall of Crown Poland.
