The article in the Materials section is the second part of the work of E. Truskolaska, published in the 15th volume of the "Studies into the History of the Book and Book Collections" of 1993 (pp. 121-154). This is the catalogue of the book collection of Karol Zabrzeski, the mayor of the seventeenth-century Warsaw. It consists of 466 units, stored in the majority in the University of Warsaw Library and the Library of the Metropolitan Seminar in Warsaw. Individual books of Zabrzeski were also found in the Hieronim Łopaciński Provincial Public Library in Lublin, the Library of the Ossoliński National Institute in Wrocław, and in the Warsaw Public Library. The catalogue units consist of shortened bibliographic description, information about binding, and provenances. The catalogue is preceded with the List of abbreviations and the List of abbreviations of cited literature, and completed with the Index of provenances.
