The article presents the book collection of Ignacy Józef Działyński (1754-1797), a general, participant in the Polish-Russian war (1792) and the Kościuszko Insurrection, patriotic activist, a land owner. The author referred to „Regestr rzeczy różnych po niegdy JW Ignacym hrabi Działyńskim jenerale bywszych wojsk polskich i różnych orderów polskich kawalerze, pozostałych, jako to sukien, futer, sreber, klejnotów i innych ruchomości, w ten regestr sprawiedliwie, nic nie opuszczając, wciągnionych, na groncie dóbr wsi Szumska przez uproszonych do tego dzieła przyjaciół, roku 1797 dnia 26 miesiąca nowembra [!] spisany” [The register of different things after Honourable Ignacy count Działyński, general of former Polish army and chevalier of different Polish orders, such as clothes, fur coats, silverware, jewels and other movables…] - stored in the National Library of Poland, the legacy of Aleksander Czołowski.
