The „Biesada Literacka” at the time of the editorship of Gracjan Unger (1876–1881)

Abstract

„Biesiada Literacka” [The Literary Feast] journal was one of the longest-running illustrated periodicals in Poland. Although it changed publishers, editors, printers, and audience, it was published continuously in the years 1876-1917. The author analyses the first period of this periodical - 1876-1881 - when Gracjan Unger was its publisher and editor. She describes the title in both formal and content aspects at that time.
