The supposed exlibris of the New Library of Duke Albrecht of Prussia

Abstract

Many books from the collection of the former State and University Library in Königsberg have been preserved in the Nicolaus Copernicus University Library in Toruń, including those belonging to Duke Albrecht, Prince of Prussia. These books are easy to identify, as they often include the ex-libris, coming in several varieties. However, the quasi-ex-libris of the duke's New Library can be found in one copy, and this one is the subject of this article.
